Portland H&G Show Book Sale a Success

Author Gregory E. Zschomler at the Portland Home & Garden Show

My sales at the Portland Spring Home & Garden Show were good.

It was a pleasure to meet buyers and sign their books. I also enjoyed meeting new authors and chatting with the old ones. Not that they are particularly old, but I mean that I've known them for a while.

Some of my title supplies have dwindled significantly (for example I have very few Playhouse Phantom and BPZ Cajun & Caribbean Cookbooks on hand now). I do have more of the newer books--especially Rocketman--for signing when ordered from me.

$10 will get you either Rocketman or The Amish vs. the Zombies (plus $2 P&H); or buy both for $20 and the shipping is FREE. (You can also get the three book set of the Bayou Boys Adventures for $20 post-paid, while in-stock supplies last.)

NEW Features: Photo and Digital Art Tab and Improved Books Tab on this Blog

The wife and I (she's the HTML genius) have done some work to this blog. I recently added a new tab to show off the color of the photographs in my new book, ROCKETMAN, (where they appear only in black and white). [There were also some formatting issues on the Books page and Ruth fixed those by code tweaking.]

Please DO check out these lovely photos along with detailed information about them not found in the book.

Meanwhile, I am at work on the next book. The manuscript is complete, but, since its a children's picture book, there are illustrations to be done. I am attempting to do them myself and have made some good progress in character development and story boarding. However, I remain unsure about my talent to finalize the paintings. (I have another artist pitching some sketches as well.)

To order ROCKETMAN visit your local indie bookstore and ask for it or order online from your favorite dealer. And remember, I'll be signing at the Spring Portland Home and Garden Show 3-5 p.m. Friday, February 20 and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, February 21.
