I met a striking young author this past weekend from the Portland area and I
had to buy his debut book. Damien Macalino is just eight years old. His masterpiece,
What if an Alligator Ate an Avalanche, is a children's picture book featuring an alphabet of awesome alliterations (and you know I love those). I enjoyed the fun and fancy frolic.
